Jack Farrell, Captain and Owner
Captain Jack Farrell is a Coast Guard Licensed Master who has owned and operated vessels for 30 years. In addition to owning and managing Seacoast Maritime Charters, Jack has served as the Facilities Manager at Star Island. His knowledge of the area, boating expertise, and sociability will make for a memorable experience for your outing! A friendly, flexible, and capable Captain.
Jack has been running boats since childhood, from lobster fishing to racing, and sailing offshore to Bermuda and the Bahamas. He has owned and maintained classic wooden sailboats since 1985.
Jack has operated and maintained Star Island’s supply vessels since 2009. He is a driving force for creating the heralded environmental initiatives at Star Island, including the installation of the largest off-grid solar array in NE. Jack’s earlier careers included real estate, conservation consulting, construction, and financial services. A true “Renaissance Man,” Jack is a regular contributor to Points East- writing about islands, boats and marine activities in general. In addition to his conservation and marine interests, Jack is also an avid musician and professional ski instructor.
